In the heart of the 12 South District connected by a patio to the Frothy Monkey coffee house, is a little blue treasure. Moda is a comfortably quaint boutique drenched in sunlight. It's an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon exploring all of its nooks and crannies. There is a lot to see here, but the store is nicely merchandised, not cluttered, making it easy to shop all the racks and shelves.
Meredith, the store's owner, has stocked Moda with a host of fabulous lines. Velvet, Graham & Spencer, Hype, Larsen Gray, Sweet Pea, Cino, Wrecords by Monkey, Voluspa and Seda France candles, Ballmania lip balm and Milkman baby gifts are just a few. She is super friendly and helpful and so is her staff. She's done a fantastic job finding many items unique to Nashville.
Moda oozes chic at prices that aren't jaw-droppingly high. You'll find basics here, but not run-of-the-mill, every day basics. What you'll find are beautiful ruffled blouses and perfectly tailored trousers, jackets and coats with just the right amount of detailing, and tees equally appropriate with either a suit or a pair of jeans. You'll also find gorgeous dresses for day and evening and all the accessories you need to make your outfit truly stunning. You might even walk out with a fabulous new pair of jeans for under $100!
